Boone Junior College Dedication, 1969, 1969-04-27

"Boone Junior College was established by the Boone Independent School District in March, 1927, and has operated continuously since that time. The institution has grown through two stages of development since its establishment and is now entering a third stage of even greater magnitude. The College will become a campus center of the Des Moines Area Community College July 1, 1969. This development gives further impetus for Boone Junior College to become a part of a great educational complex."
